About Me

Hi - I’m Franziska Beeler, an independent EdTech consultant, learning designer, and L&D strategist.

I’ve been designing learning experiences that people love and have business impact for 15 years.

I've built premium courses for Section, Junto, and Strategyzer, and I’ve helped several VC-funded EdTech startups scale their systems and processes. As a coach, I've helped individuals and team design learning experiences like a pro - no matter the subject. Earlier in my career, I worked with L&D departments around the globe, designing custom learning solutions and strategies for clients like Allianz Insurance, TD Bank, and SAP.

As a product and curriculum developer, I’ve worked with some of the world’s most impactful business thinkers and practitioners, including Scott Galloway, Alex Osterwalder, and many more. My approach is informed by the many influential thinkers I’ve had the privilege to work with.

In recent years, I've distilled my experience into a set of templates and a proven course design process that helps people design more impactful learning experiences, efficiently, and for any topic. I've successfully implemented these templates and processes at several organizations. I'm also the owner of a product development agency called Faculty21.

My life is influenced by a number of apparent polarities: I’m a teacher with an MBA, a musician with a career in consulting, a Swiss-Canadian citizen, a nature lover in the big city, a creative implementer with an eye for the future. For many years, I struggled to balance these polarities - today, it’s exactly these tensions I draw energy and inspiration from.

My secret sauce to dealing with complexity: critical thinking and the improvisation skills I picked up at jazz school. That's where I learned that true creativity lies in making the complicated simple.
